THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NOVEL
DESCRIPTION:

This curricular activity contributes to the graduate student profile by aiming to awaken two important aspects in the student when approaching a novel: recognizing the elements inherent to the genre through its evolution over time, and also appreciating the novel that arises from aesthetic appreciation and the connection that occurs with the ideas, emotions, and feelings expressed in the work. This establishes a close bond between the author and the reader.


LEARNING OUTCOMES:

LO1 Examines literary works through experience, interpretation and evaluation of the novel genre, stimulating personal development.

LO2 Recognizes the evolution of the English novel through the comprehensive reading of the main genres of fiction, recognizing its importance over time.
