PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE II
DESCRIPTION:

Subject oriented to the critical-reflective practice to create pedagogical knowledge; promoting and facilitating in them sequenced, progressive, coherent and integrated experiences in the curricular trajectory and practice centers. This model also seeks to contribute to the achievement of the learning of pre-service teachers through an integrated work, which links students and academics of the university with the educational system through bidirectional alliances that promote critical and reflective practices in all contexts. All of these strives towards training teachers of excellence, capable of performing at different levels of the Chilean educational system.


LEARNING OUTCOMES:

By the end of the module, students should

  1. Collaboratively plan and execute pedagogical interventions using a level of English appropriate to the teaching context in an autonomous manner.
  2. Plan and develop appropriate Homeroom and Counseling activities.
  3. Propose improvement actions based on the evaluation of teaching and learning processes, according to theoretical constructs

TEACHING METHODS:

Workshops, one-on-one tutoring sessions, case studies, project-based learning.
