LITERATURE APPRECIATION
DESCRIPTION:

This curricular activity contributes to the graduation profile by instilling in students an appreciation for literature as an expression of art and a means of learning a foreign language from a different perspective. Poems, plays, novels, short stories, and other genres inspire admiration, reflection, and emotion in readers. To achieve this, each student must be acquainted with the three major genres of literature and their elements to foster literary appreciation and analysis.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

LO1 Demonstrates knowledge of narrative literary genres, identifying their specific characteristics and the differences that exist among fiction texts.

LO2 Establishes the differences between the variants of the dramatic genre and the elements that compose it, relating them to the periods in which they were created.

LO3 Understands the meaning of various poetic genres from the author's perspective, identifying the constitutive elements of poetry.
