GUIDANCE COUNSELING AND HOMEROOM TEACHING
DESCRIPTION:

This curricular activity aims to develop competencies in work management within homeroom teacher meetings, taking into account the classroom climate based on the principles of Educational, Vocational, and Professional Guidance. Students participate in work teams that consider the stages of student development, implementing various strategies to contribute to the comprehensive development of students in topics such as school dynamics, School Safety, Sustainable Development, Sexuality, and Gender.


LEARNING OUTCOMES:

LO1 Recognizes the guiding, normative, and curricular framework for the development of the roles of homeroom leadership and educational guidance with students, parents, and guardians in their institution.

LO2 Designs an orientation and work plan for the Homeroom Leadership, in accordance with guidelines and tools available in the context of their practice and based on the analysis of best practices within the school system.

LO3 Applies strategies and tools for the development of school guidance both in the context of group work and in individual interactions with students and guardians in their institution.


TEACHING METHODS:

Group work, Case study, Guided readings, Systematization of practical and school experiences.
