In this subject, theoretical reflection and the practice of thinking and acting in research are combined. Paradigms that support scientific research are analyzed and methodological strategies, data collection techniques and data analysis are studied.
In addition, it is intended to provide students with theoretical and practical information about the writing, formats of research papers, and the use of the techniques necessary to elaborate a research proposal, as well as the creation of a research proposal.
LO1 Students conceptualize research, its nature, characteristics, paradigms and typology. Describes, from a theoretical and theoretical and practical point of view, the research process and the associated moments. Students design and implement a research project.
An attempt will be made to implement a didactic strategy that emphasizes the active and protagonist participation of students in the teaching and learning process, using for this purpose, among other modalities : Reading of bibliographic material, the autonomous work guide, individual and group learning, group workshops, presentations, field work, as well as the teacher’s explanation/demonstration, especially at the beginning of each unit.
